Performance psychology is about developing the consistent psychological habits, self-awareness and adaptability that allow you to perform at your best: in sport, in business, and in any high-achievement environment.
In practice: one-to-one sessions, team workshops, or remote support, structured around your goals, with Spotlight profiling where it helps. It starts with an honest conversation about where you are.
Psychology, at its core, is the study of what drives thought, emotion and behaviour. In performance contexts, it bridges the gap between what a person is capable of and what they actually produce, by developing the psychological skills that determine how well capability translates into results.
Every high performer encounters moments of doubt, distraction or emotional turbulence. Dips in confidence. Loss of focus. Nerves or frustration clouding judgement. These are not signs of weakness. They are the predictable demands of performing at a high level.
The goal is not the elimination of pressure. It is the ability to perform inside it, consistently, and as closely as possible to your actual capability.
Performance psychology bridges the distance between what you are capable of and what you actually produce.
Consistent high performance is both demanding and rare. Everyone faces setbacks, dips in form, or periods where performance does not reflect what they know they are capable of.
We work with individuals who want to understand what is driving those patterns, and develop the habits, thinking skills and psychological resilience to perform more reliably.
Whether you have a specific issue to address, or a less defined sense that something is getting in the way, the starting point is always the same: an honest conversation about where you are.
Across a wide range of areas, in sport, in business, and anywhere the gap between capability and output matters.
Individual sessions at a location that works for you: pitchside, in your workplace, or at our base. Structured around your specific goals and adapted as we progress.
Group sessions focused on specific performance themes: practical, evidence-based, and directly relevant to your environment. Delivered at your training base, office, or off-site.
Flexible support by video call, phone or email, for those who prefer continuity without geography as a constraint.
A powerful, performance-focused profiling tool grounded in psychology, used as a diagnostic and development tool within the Think 2 Win Performance process.
A large part of Oliver's one to one work is with children and young athletes. The psychology of performing under pressure matters as much at thirteen as at thirty, and learning it early protects a young athlete's confidence, their enjoyment, and their long term development in sport.
Sessions are available in person and online. Oliver holds an enhanced DBS check. Parental consent is required, and the work is done with the parent and the young athlete together, because the best strategy comes from everyone pulling in the same direction. The focus is always the young person: their confidence, their motivation, and their love of the sport, never pressure to perform.
Whether you have a specific issue to address, or a less defined sense that something is getting in the way, the starting point is always the same. Tell us where you are and what you are working toward.
