Every engagement begins with the same question: what are your defaults, and what do they cost you? All of us develop patterns, ways of thinking, responding and behaving, that work until the demands change or the stakes rise. Understanding yours is not a weakness. It is the most honest starting point for any meaningful change.

I became interested in performance psychology the way most practitioners do, through lived experience of what pressure actually does to a person. Competing in sailing at international level, I met the full range: the narrowing of attention at the critical moment, the grip of self-doubt when results did not match capability, the gap between what I knew I could do and what I actually produced on the water. Technical ability was never the limiting factor. Understanding was.
That experience is the foundation of Think 2 Win Performance. I believe performance is an expression of the person, not a product of a system. Develop the person, their self-awareness, their values and their capacity to adapt, and the performance follows.
If any of this resonates, I would love to hear from you.
